Nerinne Model Sheet

This is Nerinne. One of three fairy-tale princesses I've been playing with. Menelle [link] , Rianne [link] and Nerinne.
Yes, they are sisters. Menelle had a different mother than the other two. Back then the King would find a new queen fast if the old one died without leaving sons. And this is one story where there's no evil step-mother.

The concept of this world is that each princess represent a general type of fairy-tale female. The old, Grimm fairytale part. The idealistic, Disney-like princess, and the heroine that acts like an actual modern individual with her own clear desires.

In this world there roughly are four different types of magic.
- Divine magic. Really not magic as much as divine miracles or divine intervention.
- Natural born magical gifts. Like - for instance - the ability to talk with animals.
- Learned magic, as in witchcraft or sorcery.
- Item-granted magic. Like 7-mile boots or invisibility-cloaks.

Other than that it works pretty much after the same rules as your generic fairy-tale.

Nerinne is a modern heroine. The most important thing in Nerinnes life is freedom and self-realisation. Love could be part of this, but Nerinne wants her freedom. She does not want to feel trapped, and she certainly wants things to be on her premises.
Nerinne has three magical animal cloaks that she can use. She loves the one that makes her into a swan, allowing her to fly free. Ignoring all rules, Nerinne will try to make her own destiny. Very apropriate for the youngest of three anyway.
Off all the three girls, Nerinne is pretty much the only one with no virtual guarantee of a happy ending. Being an individual thinker with no set rules also means that the rules about princesses always getting a happily ever after are off.
