Kat - OC Pageant - Round 3 - Storytime

Description

One of Kat's most successful heists, is the one no-one really can prove, and most people dismiss as a funny rumour.

See, there was this very prestigious diamond jewellery exhibition at the fancy museum. And the opening would be with an event with tons of girls dressed in wedding gowns.

To keep things safe at the big event they had a lot of security, and even the top local hero present. Said local hero was a big deal. He even had a whole supervillain group that had declared him their nemesis, and Kat happened to know, that they planned to rob the exhibition at the big event, simply because their nemesis was present. Not being one to pass up such a perfect opportunity, Kat realised this would be a really nice time for him to grab some of the sparkly loot, before the museum was held up by supervillains. Even if the robbery didn't succeed, everyone would still assume the other group was to blame for the missing parts.

Of course, Kat had to make sure his heist took place on the same evening, but before the other villains arrived. So he figured he'd grab the shinies just before the event actually started. Now, the only people authorised in the room at that time was museum staff, security, celebrity superheroes and pretty girls in wedding gowns. The latter – Kat realised – not only would be a perfect disguise and minion hiding place. It also would allow him to wear a costume jewellery tiara. Which really is the next best thing around, if you can't wear your regular plastic cat king crown.

And that is how Kat ended up meeting a celebrity while wearing a wedding dress.

Round 3 entry for :icontheoc-pageantofda:. For this round, contestants were to follow a chance game based on their birthday (or creation time), which would result in a silly line: Birthday game for artist that own OCs by AngieR3741
We then were to create a story ending in that line with max 300 words.

Kat was created on the 22nd of March 2014, so he got the line: And that is how Kat ended up meeting a celebrity while wearing a wedding dress. - Being me, I naturally ended up making the story almost meet the word limit. :P

Fun facts:
- Kat got no less than three of his supervillainess "friends" to help dressing him properly up in the wedding gown. They were all laughing a lot at first, but it didn't take long for them to be caught up in the project.
- You can't tell all to well, but Kat's got almost no padding at all around the chest. He had originally planned adding massive "sexy bobs" to take away attention from the rest of himself, but all his three consultants insisted it looked much better without those, and he actually looked less realistic with the big breasts.
- Almost all modern museums Today got white walls and white floors. But between Kat and the hero both wearing massive amounts of white already, I went with a bit of colour instead. I used blue in an attempt to make the scene belong to Kat, but I think in retrospect I may need to go back and change the colour, as it makes the hero stand out more in the overall picture. :/
Update: I changed the blue to a muted golden tone.

Sorry it's taken so long to comment but oh my gosh- I love this so much! What a creative way to roll with such a bizarre prompt. This absolutely hilarious and brilliant. I love how gaudy the wedding dress it- it seems to fit Kat's personality perfectly. Your switch to warm tones in all the whites surrounding Kat's cool white dress was a smart choice too- I think it works beautifully to draw the attention to him and the dress.
