Concept Art: PJ Party Girls

Description

Concept art for a comic idea. They are 4 supernatural friends in their early teens (mentally at the least, not all of them age the way humans age).
They are based on supernatural creatures from Danish folklore. In fact, all of these four girls are pretty dangerous, should someone manage to piss them off.

In the actual story they are having a slumber party together at the little witch's house (placed at the edge of the forest).

Siri: The witch is pretty much following normal witch clichés. She's a cute little rebel, and - somewhat ironically - pretty much a carbon copy of her witch mother (nice rebelling there, Siri).

The elle girl: Needs a proper name. This is basically the Danish mythological version of an elf girl, from before Tolkien came along and changed everything about how elves should be perceived.
The elle girls would come out and dance at night in the forest, and could danse men to death from exhaustion. They could also drive men insane (for instance by shooting them with their enchanted elle-arrows). Elle girls are usually beautiful blonde girls dressed in white with hollow backs (the back was how you could tell they were not human). The myth varies on how that back affects them, but in my version they disappear if you look straight into it.

My character is basically just your fun-loving and mischievous little soon-to-be man-eater. It's easy to convince her of doing stupid stuff, as long as it sounds fun and exiting. True to myth, she also knows how to use a bow.
I've given her pointed ears just because elves today need those (and they're fun to do), but mythologically speaking that's actually incorrect.

Cherry Plum: Named from the fruit (Mirabel in Danish). My troll girl is a geeky little fur-ball. Don't ask how they have gotten internet in the troll hill, but she sure knows how to use it. ;)
It should be noted that Danish troll mythology tends to show trolls living just like humans. Just in the forest and usually underground in troll hills. So for me it makes sense that trolls today would use the same technology as humans (granted, some trolls would probably be more behind than others, just as some older humans are behind in technological knowledge).

Cherry Plum is breaking a few troll stereotypes, being one of the more sensible girls in the bunch. She's extremely smart for a troll, and will normally be the one pointing out whenever the group is about to do something stupid.
Of course, being a super strong troll, her idea of physical danger tends to differ somewhat from the norm.

Katrine: The mare: [link]
Mare's will give people (and horses, trees and other animals) nightmares, sitting/riding on top of them as they sleep. They are pretty much always female in Danish mythology. In some stories they are what happen, if a mother makes a deal with the devil before giving birth to her first child. The mother will always have easy labours, but her first child will either be a werewolf (if the child is a boy) or a mare (if the child is a girl). And no, neither the werewolf nor the mare's bite were infectious with "the virus" in those versions. You were born a mare or werewolf. Not infected.
They are also connected to sexual desires, so I figured my young mare wouldn't manifest before reaching her teens.

Katrine likes sports and is probably the bravest of all the girls. Together with Cherry Plum she's also one of the more rational girls. Being the new girl in the group, she's suffering a bit from the "I need to show I'm cool" tendency.
She goes to handball and riding. Also she'll consider any location within ten km of her home easy to get to on her bike.

I love that you have an ellegirl! I've always been fascinated by hollowbacked fae, but they're so hard to draw convincingly- I never seem able to really get across the strangeness that would be a hollow back...
And of course trolls are just always fun. ^_^
I like that you're going beyond the usual Cute Monster suspects here (a mare! Yay!). Does their story have a name, yet?
